My non-AAP kid learned the multiplication tables in a week and REALLY knew them. My AAP kid took months and kept having to go back and relearn them. Go figure. |

That's great! I'm the OP. My son hates homework and only wants to play when we get home. So I'm only teaching him the time tables about 15 minutes per day. That's all he can handle LOL. If he had more focus, we could do this faster. I can see my youngest learning them a lot faster because she would be able to focus an hour straight no problem. I guess all kids are different. |

Yes some gifted children are not so good with memorization even though they have good memories of events. |
