Just leased an outback (and I'm unhappy)

We walked in and signed the same day which took forever and our son was melting down. I think we overpaid.

Here are the details.
we leased a 2014 the 2015's are due to come out this summer.
We got the limited trim level and didn't get a backup camera....we now think that would have made our lives much much easier.
We put 5000 down and our monthly payment is 325 a month.
I got nervous about it before I even left the lot,k i feel like the stress just got the best of me and now we are completely stuck.
think that if we had the trim level up and the backup camera the "price of the car" high 27,000 i think i don't have the paper work right in front of me would have been more fair.

anyway, I drove it home from 13 miles to like 29 and I don't know what my options are. I fear I don't have any options.

what do you think?

did i get a horrible deal or is it (ok but not great).

You are stuck. buy a back up camera/sensor and call it a day:

We once bought an outback, got home, realized it wasn't the model year they told us it was, and returned it the next day.

I thought the point of a lease was so that you didn't have to put anything down? OP, I put down $2000 when I bought an outback and my monthly payments for a 4 year plan are $400. So yes, it sounds like you got a very bad deal. I'm paying just a little more than you at the end of the time, I will OWN a car.

Just for comparison - last August, we leased a 2013 Honda CRV with the highest trim level. On signing, we paid about $1800 - which was all taxes and the first month's payment. Our lease is 36 months, and our payment is $305/month. Leasing one car makes sense for our family - lower monthly payment, and with kids, we like to have the most recent safety features.

Another comparison,

Brought 2012 SUV, paid $24k. Paid off now so I amd driving around with carrying a car note. And it is mine. I hope to get at least 8-10 years without a car note.
