I found out one of my coworkers believes the moon landing is a hoax. I can't work on projects with her anymore because I feel she's a total nut job who may kill us all. |
Neil Armstrong was a Great American... and an Eagle Scout. |
I have met someone who believes it was fake. Unfortunately. |
messy. I didn't read it - too messy and cluttered. I am only fascinated by the photos and the gold Reynold's wrap. |
One of my old friend's husband thought that the moon landing was fake. He thought that the video was filmed on a Hollywood movie set. Her husband was also a bigot and a religious nutjob. He had some very strange beliefs. I couldn't believe that she just went along with his crazy theories. They both started to freak me out. Needless to say, I lost respect for my friend and I ended our friendship. You will be surprise how crazy some people are. They appeared to be cool on the surface, but they turn out to be freaking weirdos. ![]() |
People are idiots. A former employee filed a complaint against me with HR for creating a hostile work environment and offending her religion.
What did I do? I had a discussion with the person sitting next to her about new dinosaur bones found a few years back. When she said, "I don't believe they really found those" I thought she meant 'that' particular discovery was a hoax. She meant fossils and dinosaurs in general were a hoax. She was one of those who believe the Earth is only 5000 years old. HR actually supported the write up. They are also idiots. |
Is that supposed to mean anything? I know someone who had to scramble to falsify their kid's leadership requirement because he was away at boarding school and didn't have an active role in his troop. He is an Eagle Scout too. Big whoop. |
I hope you are making her life miserable in return. |

You can't see the flags "left" on the moon with a telescope. |
Yikes, basically reality is a hostile work environment. |
There are two responses to this. You can't see something that small from here. http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/badastronomy/2008/08/12/moon-hoax-why-not-use-telescopes-to-look-at-the-landers/ And you can see the mirror arrays they left on the moon from here, using lasers. They've been using them to measure the distance to the moon for decades. http://www.fromquarkstoquasars.com/the-lunar-laser-ranging-retroreflector-array/ http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2009/jun/21/mcdonald-observatory-space-laser-funding |
Scum. |
This has do be the worst thread title ever. When I read it, I know I believe in Neil Armstrong. I met him. He was real. He is not a myth. |
It's not exactly cheap. |
