I drink mine as many posters have suggested - no sugar, with a splash of half and half or the highest fat milk we have on hand. But I hVe had it with soy milk and I agree that is sweet so that might be a good place to start - soy milk and no added sweetener. I also agree with the advice to try a flavored coffee (NOT syrup added, but flavored beans), because that will amp the flavor factor for a coffee newbie - although that is offensive to me for an a.m. coffee ![]() |
How did you start drinking coffee at 36? I'm 40 and have never cared for it, but sometimes I wish I could stand it enough to drink it socially. Were you just desperate for the caffeine fix? |
I am a convert at 50! I fell in love with the hazelnut iced coffee at Au Bon Pain (with soy milk.) I have been cold brewing some good coffee I found that I like. I tend to like breakfast blends, or low acid and lighter roasts. |
