Brain tumor? Really?

I have two friends who experienced strange facial sensations and then numbing in their faces. Both turned out to have (benign) brain tumors. The tumors were removed and they're fine now, but still. Both friends in excellent physical condition when they were diagnosed.

Wow. What brand of cell phone do they use?

Bells Palsy and stroke aren't related.

Didn't say they were.

OP Go see your doctor. I had this awful pain in my teeth and thought I certainly had an abscess or something. It was nothing serious -- what a relief! The news is not always, or even often bad.

It's only a matter of time until a DCUM poster throws out MS!

But not lupus. Its never lupus.

I miss "House"!

If this were an episode of house someone would have suggested amyloidosis by now.

It could be sinus pressure from all of this pollen. 3 members of my family have had issues with sinus/congestion. You could try a Clariton and some cold meds to see if that helps.

See your doctor. It could be anything from a neurological disorder to a dental problem.

Bell's Palsy maybe.

Do you also have pain inside your ear?

Even though the title sounds serious, it really is not too serious.

I had this ten yrs. ago, and it went away eventually by itself.

But see a Dr. and he may prescribe steroids.

It only affected my face, not my body that is how I knew it wasn't a stroke.

I was going to say shingles too. I had that a couple of years ago, but I didn't have a weird sensation, it was pain. I ended up having my eye socket hurt, and went in that day. When describing my symptoms to the doctor, swelling around eye, pain on one side of head, sore eye socket, she diagnosed me immediately.

Can someone tell me brain tumor/cancer symptoms?

Parkinson's or Parkinsonism.

I have no idea. One was diagnosed 15 years ago, before cell phones were common. The other was more recent.

The brain tumor /cell phone connection is for people who talk on their phones alot, not if you use it mostly for texting and other activities.

OP, any update? Hope you have a diagnosis and are on the mend.
