They do, actually, in some of the styles. But those are not the best-looking (or even the most expensive) styles.

Omega Dynasty semi-custom white painted over maple. They were expensive compared to Ikea and Home Depot brands and are very solid and well made. BUT ... they do chip and, worse, the paint kind of bubbles at the edges where they have gotten a bit wet, like from drips from the sink.

I really hate how beat up they are starting to look and I wouldn't do white again, even though I love the look when they are new.

To be fair, they are ten years old, but I can't afford to replace them.

If you are doing white or any other painted cabinet no reason to get real wood. I think ikea is ok in this case.

Same here, haha. Adel white? They are very easy to clean. And if a door does chip somehow, well it would be cheap to replace!

Same here. 1.5 years old. Amazed how easy it is to clean them, everything wipes right off.
