Help me plan my next Netflix binge

Enjoy. When you're done you're going to be pissed there were only two seasons.
See if you can spot the West Wing parallels/overlaps.

UGH. Only two seasons??? I hate that. Can I watch Sports Night first and then start West Wing? Or should I time them differently?

You've really never watched West Wing?

I guess watch them in the order they were made. Sports Night came first. They overlapped for a season.
West Wing's a lot more substantial and there were 6 or 7 seasons. Sports Night is much more lighthearted. And addictive. You'll go through it in no time.

Aaron Sorkin also wrote "A Few Good Men." In both that movie and an early West Wing there's a scene where he does a cameo as Self-Important Lawyer In Bar.

OP here. I binge-watched Private Practice, too. I can not believe how it ended. I was so pissed.

I watched here and there, but given what you just posted, I'm going to have to watch the end!!!

Your post now inspired me to watch more! After I'm done with How I Met Your Mother. Probably not up your alley though.

I find HIMYM a little annoying, but I could probably devote a few weeks to it between dramas. I might feel differently about it if I had watched from the beginning.

I never caught the "Lost" bug and binge watched it on Netflix all summer. It was addictive and there is so much of it, it can literally last you all summer long. So much fun!

I did Orphan Black, which is on Amazon Prime by the way, and got through it in two weeks. What's up with having to pay for episodes from Season 2? Am I missing something.

A billion people have told me I would like Firefly. Is it really that good?

Yes it is. I'd also suggest:

Luthor

Hannibal (yes the squick factor is high, but the writing and acting is probably the best on TV imo right now)

Do you like Joss Whedon? if so I am assume you already watched Buffy, if you haven't maybe add it to your list!

The premise to Firefly seems so odd--a Space Western essentially, so I never tuned in when it was actually on air. I only discovered it after it was cancelled but I was hooked. The writing and acting is so good.
