Why GDS's building of lower school is in poor condition?

what are your top choice of school?

They think they but as an educator who did her thesis on the subject - trust me - they are doing their own thing. Not a bad thing but would not be my first choice for our kids.

Our kids eat at their desks in their no-cafeteria no-lunchroom private school. Don't find it gross at all.

GDS is not the only school we visited last fall that did not have a cafeteria for the LS. To me, with memories of my own experiences eating in school cafeterias growing up, it was a non-issue. Yes, we were suitably impressed with the wait staff setting the tables at Sidwell during our tour there, but it would not have been a factor in our decision had our daughter been accepted there (she was not). As for the campus, a campus' physical beauty is nice, but superficial. I would guess there are few campuses more beautiful than Bullis' campus, but would you really choose Bullis over GDS?
