If you WOHM, do you find a private pool membership worth it?

We can walk to our pool in 5 minutes, or drive in 1; it's also an HOA pool, so the membership fee is minimal. All that being said, we love the pool and definitely think it is worth it. We go almost every Saturday and Sunday after nap. I get off work early and take the girls by myself almost every Friday during the summer, as my office hours are very flexible during the summer (I work at a university). Definitely worth it!

I would keep it! Your son is around 2? My LO lovesss the pool and I work, but we still go at least once on the weekend.

Ours is worth it because it's combined with other things. We have a JCC family membership that costs about $130/month. That includes a gym, track, indoor pool and outdoor pool, among other things. We send to the daycare, and pay $75/month less per kid due to being members.

We went every single Saturday and Sunday last summer (kids went almost every day during the week with the nanny). The youngest was a little older than yours is this summer, but they loved the baby pool, and they took the most amazing naps after playing in the water every day!

Many pools have a dirt cheap August only rental after swim team ends. Look into that.
