No pants options?

Yeah, our privat has a pants option for girls but no girls wear pants. Always the skirt or jumper. Not sure why this is.

I wore leggings under dresses all winter and I take public transportation to work. It was fine.

My DD's high school has a pants option but in 3 years she has only seen 1 girl wear them. Other DDs are in elementary and they've never asked for pants. They can wear skorts as a summer option but they always have shorts under their skirts anyway. They often wear leggings/tights with the skirt in winter but say the classrooms are really warm and sometimes just knee socks are preferred. Two days a week they wear their PE sweats all day long anyway.

Not OP here but with similar concerns and am feeling better about the no pants option. The posts about kids not caring about the skirts and girl's uniform slacks being uncomfortable or ugly were actually helpful in reframing my knee-jerk reactions, thank you.
