Disney for Spring Break - Help Me Plan!

Anonymous
We took our 5 year old and it was a PERFECT Disney age. No diapers, no naps, better able to deal with the long waits and long lines. We plan to return in a few years (need a long time to save the money--we went all out and it is so expensive!) and we'll do the big rides at that point.

I noticed that one poster said that 2 years old was too young for Disney - is it the same for Seaworld? What is the best age for that?

I am the poster who took her 2 year old to Disney. It wasn't that it was bad, per se - but I think he'll get a lot more out of it in a couple of years (and maybe he'll be out of the "no dark ride" phase.)

We didn't go to SeaWorld since there are a lot of shows and my son doesn't sit well. Plus when we've taken him to the zoo/aquarium, he could have cared less.

I saw that it was supposed to be in the mid-high 80s next week with evenings in the high 60s. A light jacket/sweater will be perfect.

Bring waterproof jackets, no blazer [wife beater/mullet style is seen alot], big pool shared by beach/yacht club is under renovation [check status], meal plan stuff can be a waste, don't rent a car, cab from the airport might be cheaper than hotel shuttle [per person not the ride], don't buy books on how to go to disney. Pack light and do a quick load of laundry at the resort. Lots of people do this in the later evening and it was a mom social event /bonding at the hot tub. Choose 1 special restaurant and make dinner reservations now or go to something like the horse dinner theater.
