Former redskin cheerleader again. You were not allowed to become a groupie or date a player. It was not like college or anything. Practices were no where near the players. It is not like there was interaction between us. In fact it was prohibited. During a game the players are not focused on them.

How do you explain Kathy Lee then? You think she wasn't sniffing around? Puuuuuuhleeese.

I know some women that were high school cheerleaders 20+ years ago, and believe me, that was their peak

grade school/college cheerleading does not equal pro cheerleading. You're more likely to go pro if you're a dancer.

College CL here -- some of us did. Many dated players FB and BB. Married them too, some of us.

College cheerleading is in no way analogous to pro cheerleading. Pro cheerleaders are not allowed to date players. Remember when Chris Cooley dated (and eventually married) a Redskins cheerleader? She actually was kicked off the squad for that.

Think about it. They don't want women who are in it to date millionaires. College football players and cheerleaders are not paid. It's completely different.

And to the pps denouncing cheerleading, you're acting like they're prostituting or something. People wear less at the beach.

It's gratuitous sexism. It's pathetic and sad.

That's everywhere. Oh well.
