| I loved it! Except I am Paul Rudd's character, singing the Pixies as I drive my kids to school and cramming cupcakes into my mouth. |
Nope, I'm 31. |
| I'm 36 and I hated it. It was depressing. |
|
It is so us we were emabarrased watching it, but turn it on every chance we get.
It is hilarious. |
I thought it was depressing too! |
I am 31 and I loved Tom Petty as a kid. But I have always been into music.
I loved the movie, but it did hit too close to home on some things. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lWJXDG2i0A&feature=kp |
I don't care what age you are, you should have heard of Tom Petty. He isn't some obscure indie musician. From Wikipedia: "Throughout his career, Petty has sold more than 80 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. In 2002, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame." |
| Movies are an escape . This one isn't . |
but her boobs are really nice |
I watched with my husband and a friend and her husband and my friend's husband was the only person that had ever heard of him. |
What??? I am 35 and not remotely "into" music, and I'm seriously astounded that 31 yr olds don't know who Tom Petty is. |
| I'm 32 watched the movie when I was 31 and I don't know who this Tom guy is either. |
YIKES!! I thought everyone knew who TP was - at least those old enough to be interested in posting anything on DCUM. |
|
My DD who is in college told me she saw it and the only thing she could say was - GROSS, I HOPE I NEVER TURN 40...
I on the other hand thought is was spot on and hilarious. Did not enjoy We're the Millers at all. if Leslie Mann had been the lead it would have been better. |
| Maybe clueless 30s PP didn't grow up in US. |
