| How about Seanna? I know a baby with this name. The only trouble is people calling her "Shawna." |
| Sienna. It's pretty. |

If I saw Seanna, I would think it was pronounced "Shawna". |
| Don't do Ciena - sounds like "see-na" or even could be mispronounced with a hard CH like "China" |
|
Sienna.
Wishing you and your daughter all the best! |
| We are on Rock Creek Parkway right now. DH is driving and we are behind a Sienna! The LE version. |
Well, in Italian is would pronounced "chee-AY-na." So there's that. |

| Sienna is super popular in Australia and New Zealand. We have a sienna and did not even know it was the name of a van because well we don't drive often I guess. But I'm not sure I care I know a carter and a Hudson and a hunter. All also products. Does that really matter? So I'm biased but I like it. It was very trendy about six years ago -- Campbell brown named her kid sienna and there was a rash of em -- but less so now. It's been deemed trashy on here before but who cares really -- so has every non dc name! |

Sienna was a lot of other things before it was a minivan, PPs.
OP, curious where you got "Ciena" from? |
| I think it's pretty! Go with Sienna |
| CHerokee |
If you don't understand why this is offensive, you haven't been paying attention. Perhaps you also think that "Touareg" is just the name of an SUV made by VW? |
So that kid is "Sienna Brown"? Sounds like a crayon. |
