On reason -- DC has a long way to go to become the place that young people really want to live. Despite all the progress, it's still very sterile and stuffy and is still a government city. It needs to become a lot more artsy and hip before startups -- and the venture capital firms that fund them -- will want to begin or stay here.

the solution to make dc hip? Legalize pot (not a joke).

When first establishing the Silicon Valley, it was supposed to be in NoVA, most likely Reston. But since land and property in NoVa was expensive, they moved it to Cali, where it was cheaper then

FYI, not many ranches in Pimmitt Hills.

That means the home prices will skyrocket. But, then again, it's already pretty pricey around this area. Look at McLean, Vienna.

Its all IT. Information Technology.

The fact you think this shows why Silicon Valley will not be unseated. No, it's not all IT.
