If you don't have Netflix yet, get your free trial; I caught up on several tv shows I'd always wanted to watch while basically glued to the couch with baby. Water bottles to keep in each room (Nalgene, or I love my Contigo bottle from Target because it's no spill and one handed). This is primarily if you plan to nurse, but even if you're bottle feeding you will likely find yourself holding as still as possible while baby sleeps. |
| Thank you again to everyone for your thoughts and ideas. Much appreciated! |
Omg, this!! I did this before my now 8 yo DD was born and it was the best thing I ever did in terms of preparing for baby. Also, not that you need to wait until after your baby is born to do this, but if you plan on breast feeding, get a few cases of small water bottles delivered to your home. I was thirsty all the time and so exhausted that just the thought of getting up to fill my glass again was daunting. Especially if you're patched while the baby is latched on. Get those bottles and put them wherever you might be sitting. |
| Oh for crying out loud! Y'all sound like it is the end of the world. You'll be fine |
