It seems that, if it did not matter to you, you would have no issue with simply accepting the correction without the need to commen further. |
projecting much? (I'm not PP) |
| Perhaps. Some people try and get the facts right. Others just see how often they can make stuff up before they get called on it. |
And sometimes getting "the facts" right just isn't relevant and you look maniacal trying to correct others repeatedly. It's OK to let go sometimes. Maybe start with a deep breath. Go outside - it's beautiful out. |
Yes, you should learn to let it go. It's not a skill that you appear to have mastered or a lesson that you appear competent to teach. This house isn't in McLean. |
As a McLeaner, I don't give a **** if it's actually McLean or not. The topic is on the burning house. So stop the silliness. |
That post adds nothing of value to the discussion about the fire at the house in Falls Church. |
You are correct. The house isn't in McLean. The house is in the part of Falls Church that is on the McLean border, pays the McLean taxes, is zoned for McLean schools, and is within the boundry for the McLean sports leagues. Boy that is a mouthful, but the most correct description! |
YUP. The same one who has to brought their slanted favoritism or disdain again and again and again. You can't tell anyone that mentioning McLean was not on purpose. Of course it was. Grow up, OP. |
| What does the distinction of where the house is have to do with anything? I live in one of those new million dollar homes down the road from 'Gigantor'. The house needs to go. Enough is enough already. I could care less if the owner is torching it or if someone has something out for the builder and is torching it. It just needs to stop before someone gets hurts. Lets be real here, the house was poorly built and it was overpriced, but it doesn't deserve to be burned down. I went to one of the open houses that they had recently and it was extremely shoddy work. I wouldn't have been surprised if it was shoddy workmanship that caused the fire if I didn't know the background on the house. The house looked like a DIY job. Paint was horrible, molding was messed up, tile grout lines didn't line up, and floors were uneven. Who actually thought there was anyone willing to buy a 1.6 million dollar DIY special that has burned 2 times in 3 years??? Now that its 3 times in 4 years, is anyone going to be willing to live there. |
See, if you lived in a news house, you really would not care how big that house was. Liar. |
| news = new |
I'm not sure why you are calling me a liar. I didn't say I cared about the size. The house was 8000 sq ft, while mine is 5400 sq ft. Doesn't matter me. I find it hard to believe that anyone would burn a house down because of the size. I wouldn't have bought mine if I thought that was the case. I think the house needs to go because no one is going to buy it. A house that has been set on fire three times isn't something most people with a family are going to be willing to purchase. The fact I said it was poorly built was nothing more than an observation from walking through. |
First time I commented. I just wish the thread has stayed on topic instead of two douchenozzles arguing over a totally irrelevant point. That's all. |
