Ramona Renana |
Reut is great, go for it! |
I'm a Rebecca, so I'm partial to that name. ![]() |
Risa |
I love Raina. It's one of my favorite names starting with any letter. |
Romy is pretty popular in Israel these days (ROAM-ee). As is the aforementioned Roni. They both work well for non-Hebrew speakers. |
My name is Reut and I live in the USA. Americans have a really hard time pronouncing my name and usually call me "Ray-oot". The correct phonetic pronunciation is like "red boot" without the d and b, "reh-oot". In hebrew it is soft and pretty. |
I knew a girl with that name when I was a camp counselor. She pronounced it Ray Oot. Lovely name. |
It's ugly. And, you can't keep your child in a bubble - they will spend their whole lives meeting new people and having to explain their name. |
Wow, most of these are so ugly. Please don't name your daughter Reut. The only decent ones are Rachel and Rebecca. |
Roto-Reuter? |
Raina is super nice too. |
There's also Rina which means "joyful song"
And Raphaella |
This is OP. This thread has been mysteriously revived - the kid in question is almost two years old now, and he turned out to be a boy ![]() |
haha i totally didn't notice. I think "Reut" googled her name? |
