It's winter, too cold to play outside and sick kids are all over the inside playgrounds... ugh.

From 6 months until we had his ear tubes put in at 16 months, my little guy had pretty much a constant runny nose. He would catch a cold, the cold would get better, but the infection in his ears would cause a runny green nose and cough. He wasn't contagious, he was on every antibiotic known to man, and I wiped his nose so frequently, he would start to whimper when he saw me coming with a tissue. I would tell all of his playdates what was up. And hell yes, I took him out to play and to public places. Was I supposed to keep him inside for 10 months because he had ear infections? Every situation has a story, and unless you have an actual conversation with a parent, instead of judging them, you're just going to live in criticism and fear.
