If you do not care, then why did you click this post? I'm not being snarky. I'm genuinely curious what you expected to find. |
What's a looser? |
I think it's cute. My 21 month old and autistic 3 year old knew it before the election even took place ![]() ![]() |
During the campaign we got a call from an Obama fundraiser. When I told my 3-year-old who it was, she started yelling, "I wanna talk to Obama!" The fundraiser was nice enough to say hello, and then she was carried away by her father, still shrieking, "I wanna talk to Obama! I wanna talk to Obama!" |
That's hilarious!! Here's another funny one -- my friend's 5 year old daughter developed a new imaginary friend this fall: Barack Obama. Apparently she reported he was by her side all the time, talking, eating dinner, playing with her. Very amusing. I agree with the PPs who said there's something about Obama that's a bit like Elmo. Kids just take to him. |
Now if your kid said George Stephanopolus or Nouri al-Maliki I would give your kid a medal. The letters O, B, and D are very easy to learn. The letters S, R, and H are a little tougher to pronounce.
..and did your DC pronounce Obama's full name? |
Will the medal be in gold or silver with diamonds ![]() |
but can your child say "Mahmoud Ahmadinejad"?? |
My child who it turns out is on the autism spectrum used to call out letters in the supermarket. like the D in deli --- never let anyone tell you s/he doesn't qualify for the same academics as other kids. And if schools are willing to educate academically qualified kids with disabilities that is the bottom line for me and I don't mean just those who places like Sidwell might regard as admissions mistakes from pre-K. That is cute the child knows who Obama is and thanks for sharing. As a parent of older ones it's fun to read these posts. My kids and relatives kids are in the high school, college, young adult stages so not too much tot stuff comes my way. |
You should answer the phone...I think Harvard is calling! |
I think it's cute. I have no idea why so many posters have such huge sticks up their asses about you sharing it. |
Whoever posted this is funny as hell. |
no sticks - just a different sense of humor To us, it's not funny. |
