Would you be offended if DH gave you a Mommy Plastic Surgery Makeover for a bday present?

Ew. How old are you guys?

If he knew I wanted it, I'd be thrilled. If not, I'd be offended because it would make me think that he did not like my body.

Late 30s and we still screw at least 5xs a week. Did it today at around 3 after my conference call today. I can gross you out some more. Try me.

In addition to Ew, do you also use the phrase koodies and wee-wee?

+1 unless she has mentioned it on her own it could be extremely hurtful

I would not be offended because I have often mentioned certain things I would like to do if I can ever afford it - breast reduction and lift, tummy tuck... But I would be extremely shocked that DH would be able to give me this kind of money without me knowing about it in advance. Our finances just don't work that way. But if she has never expressed a desire to do any sort of plastic surgery or change her body, stay far away from the topic.

I desperately want a nose job, but DH says he loves my nose as is. Cheap ass.

My DH gave me a nip/tuck for a present. I did have some thoughts, but .... I LOVE THE RESULTS!! And he was very supportive while I went through all the steps.

If I had never mentioned it and it came out of the blue (in other words, was his idea, not mine), I'd be offended. However, since I talk about it all the time, I'd be thrilled!

I just showed your post to my husband. I am getting mine done next month-I am down to nothing after nursing three kids-not sure who is excited more-he or me.

It would depend on if we had discussed it previously.

If we had and he knew I wanted to switch some stuff up, it would be an awesome gift by all means.

If we never had even discussed it and he surprised me with it, it would be a slap in the face.

Unless DW made it clear she wanted it (which would concern me), extremely tacky & offensive IMO.

Signed,
a DH
