#1 "green" issue is size of household. Not lunch bags. How many kids do you have pp?

Every little bit counts. If we all did a little, there would be no reason for just a few to do a lot.

Two kids, but one is adopted. I only brought one into the world to mess up the environment--and we don't use baggies or paper bags.

He's doing it for a reason, and its probably not "just because". First try to talk to him, otherwise just put it a plain disposable bag. Ask him to recycle if it means that much to you.

Backstory: I had an llbean lunch bag in middle school and one of the kids at lunch would steal it every day and run around and I'd chase him to get it back while others laughed. Not my finest moment, but also not the sort of thing I'd proactively talk to my mom about. She still doesn't know. But a throwaway bag would have saved me a lot of grief...

Mine have plain lunch bags from Costco.
