on our own we supplemented with:
- prenatal vitamins - fish oil (nordic naturals ultimate omega - 4g/day for NK cells) - vitamin C - 1000mg (ascorbic acid) - vitamin D - 1000 IU - vitamin E - 400 IU - vitamin B12 - 1000mcg - women's iron support - 800mcg folate (switch to folic acid in luteal phase 800mcg) - CoQ10 - 30mg - grape seed extract - 100mg - baby aspirin - 81mg - ginger - can't remember details - bromelain (500mg) for 1 week after ET - DH took Proceptin and multivitamin 3 months before cycle (ideally) - anti-inflammatory diet to help with endometriosis & elevated natural killer cells (avoid red meat, wheat, dairy, trans/satuated fats, yogurt, refined carbs, yolks, caffeine, chocolate); leaving hormone-free chicken, salmon, berries, walnuts, olives, veggies, lentils, herbal teas, water (organic where possible) through the help of our RE: - co-culture - help uterine env (similar to endometrial biopsy - look up research for this) plus beneficial to embryo - acupuncture before & after ET (german study) - steroids & antibiotics (to reduce inflammation/immune response and infection) - progesterone/estrodial support during 2WW (for medicated cycles) - thyroid meds (be sure your TSH is down near 1-2) - DH took antibiotics before cycle too The biggest change we made: - get a second opinion sooner than later |

I wouldn't assume that. A lot of people waste time doing fertility work-ups with their OBs when they should be talking to an RE instead. |
