| Here's an idea...neither! When we renovated our hall bath, we never ended up installing a rod or curtain, because it was only the kids' bath. Left it that way when we showed/sold the house because it looked clean and open. Obviously we would have had to install a rod/curtain down the road once kids started showering, and buyers could do the same. Just a thought! |

For a shower/ tub combo I prefer curtains.
For a standing shower only, I like the door but only if there is really space for it. We saw one house with a super small shower stall in the master bath and a door that opened inward (there was no room to open it outward) and you could barely get in and out of the shower, and I'm a small person. But I love the clean/ open look of doors in a big enough shower stall. |
| PP here- if you already have the doors, I don't know that I would take them out. If you hadn't already had the doors, I wouldn't spend the money putting them in. |
