No. Never.
i workout almost daily and will go straight to WholeFoods or a quick errand in workout gear. I generally shower and change into normal clothes later in the day. I WAH so if I don't have time to shower before kid pickup===I pick them up in the gear. |
| Love that Camel Toe look. |

I don't care whether people wear them a lot or if they are comfortable or look good. I think that is probably true and yoga pants can be flattering because they are like moderate control top. BUT...please don't wear them to events like a baby shower. My friend wore an entire Lulu outfit to my baby shower at my mom's house and it was just lame. I mean, nice jeans are kind of the bottom of the barrel of acceptable clothing at a baby shower hosted at a soon to be grandmother's house. It was stupid and made my friend look like she can't dress and that is actually not true. She has a great figure, great wardrobe, etc. But she loved her Lulu yoga outfit and wore that crap everywhere. Let's be honest, it is the modern equivalent of sweatpants.

Funny, I am not sure. My husband buys me Prana stuff. I think either Rei or Hudson Trail. |
Yep. Sloppy and lazy, in a label-whore sort of way. |
| OH FFS WHO CARES. |
You can also find it at REI and on Amazon. A lot of the dresses sold by Title 9 are prAna, too. |
| I have a closet full of nice daytime dress stuff and seem to always wear my workout/tennis/yoga stuff. |
| In the heat of summer I like to wear shorts or sundresses. I would be hot in my workout clothes... and not in a good way. |
Me too. I don't find lulu as comfortable as my cute summer t-shirt or cotton dresses and skirts. In the heat--I want nothing tight or binding. |
Serious. I think the PP needs to consult a dictionary as to the definition of "fake" and "pretentious." Also, I don't get why people get so worked up over this type of thing. FWIW, I don't own any lulu clothes. |
|
No, but I don't own anything from Lulu
|
| I would never workout in LuLu clothes; I sweat in TJ Maxx or Marshalls clearance, Target or Costco. Workout clothes are for working out, the first thing I want to do is soak my sweaty clothes in OXY clean, shower and change into clothes that are not designed for working out. LuLu doesn't seem like it's designed for working out. $50+ for running shorts and shirts? Really? Is the clothing guaranteed to not chafe? Can anyone let me in on the secret without telling me how amazing my ass will look in yoga pants? I just want to understand the running gear. |
Running shorts don't chafe. Lifelong runner. I was amazed. Running tanks more for fashion--didn't notice them any better than others and they are way too heavy and hot for DC summers. |
| Nope. I have comfy casual clothes that are not workout clothes. |
