OP -- if your child is in a demanding school and is stressed about the work -- sometimes they take it out by being moody at home where they feel safest.

I'm the OP. She isn't in a demanding school. It's a wonderful, non-AAP school and we do not pressure our kids, no extra academic classes, etc. Their grades are top-notch with just regular classwork and homework, and they only have one extra-curric per semester.
