Looks like YY sent out a few emails today! We were thrilled to get ours, so their waitlist is definitely moving and we will be sending our Pre-Ker to Yu Ying! We're not giving up a slot at Sela though (we didn't apply to Sela).

We are giving up a great waitlist spot at another school though, so as soon as we fill out the paperwork for YY, we are going to let the other charter know, and make some people on the waitlist there very happy, since we'll be removing our names from that list (and I have a hunch that list will move much less than YYs). I will definitely post which school after the paperwork is in.

^^ Sorry, no not Stokes. We're in the early 100s on Stokes' list. I guess we will call to take our name off, although I seriously doubt they'll get to us anyway.

My DH got there at 5 AM, and we were in the top 10 in line. #1 got there at 2 AM!

I submitted online and got lucky that I got through right away - so by 8:00 on on one clock, and 8:01 on another.

Not really. Just sent the email and saw this thread. In a nutshell...not interested in Hebrew, don't want to be the first class and there's no playground.
