How can I get extra unscheduled ultrasounds?

| OP, if you are going to a perinatologist, I think that it's a pretty safe bet that based on your age, they will schedule extra ultrasounds. I was pregnant with my 2nd at age 40, and I had no other risk factors and was having a healthy pregnancy, but the perinatologist recommended that I have ultrasounds monthly based on my age alone. FWIW, I declined the extra ultrasounds, but at age 42 I think it's very likely that the doctor will recommend them. GL and congrats on your pregnancy! |
