If they chose a new MS Head, why are they advertising for applications for the position on March 24 on AIMS?

Seriously? Do you think I'm lying? They've made the announcement internally. I guess they haven't made it publicly yet.

Gotta love this board...

Another McLean parent here. Yes, a new middle school head was chosen.

We received an email about the new MS head at McLean, and we didn't even apply. We went to an Open House and got on the email list for good, it seems.

No one accused anyone of lying. Stop being so sensitive. It strange that they would advertise for the position if they chose someone. FYI it is still on the website that there is an open position for the MS head. So perhaps the school needs to be a little more organized with their communications

Sorry you didn't get the job 13:54.

Maybe now you can spend your time more constructively instead derailing dcum discussions. (And you think McLean has a problem with communications.)

Well, if they haven't made a public announcement, then their public communications are consistent. Plus, the internal announcement was right before Spring break, so they have been away. Plus, some of these outside websites take longer to make changes.

But hey if you think this is a good reason to rag on a school, I'm glad you don't send your kids there.

I don't feel comfortable posting specifics until the school makes it public. It seems odd to me that this is even a topic of discussion.

With parents like you, I am glad we don't go there. Talk about nasty. Do you trash everyone that dares to ask a question about mclean?

"Why are they still advertising a position that they have privately, but not publicly, announced is filled?"

Thats an excellent question! I'm sure it is on the minds of many. Do you have any more excellent questions?
