| NICU nurses. I think there is a special place in heaven for them. |

Nursing or medical researcher. I'm neither. |
| There are several noble professions. I agree with an earlier poster who said there are "noble people" in various professions. For example, no one thinks of a hedge fund manager as having a noble profession, but if the $$ gives tons of money to charities, scholarships, others -- then that is really noble. |
Community activist! Just skim the donations and rile everyone up! |
You're back! It's been awhile since you came trolling with your one liner. |

Everyone will mess the place just after you cleaned it |
| Mothers.....who help other mothers |

Noble? Well, I think we really have to look at who earns the most money, since that clearly indicates whose services are the most valued to society and who works the hardest.
Shortstop or third basemen for the New York Yankees. |
| Most money does not mean noble |
| Physical therapist |

Being noble in a profession is the same as being altruistic. It's only noble/altruistic if you're doing it for yourself, not for props and recognition from society.
I usually use the word like this, "how noble that you've dedicated your life to XYZ, trying to solve the impossible. How noble." Sorry, am too practical for noble. |
| I think you mean it's only noble if you are doing things mostly for others, not for ourselves. |
why not a doctor? |
