Leaky basement-would you buy?

| We bought our house with a known leaky basement. We bought for the neighborhood, and liked the house well enough (still live in it). We had the problem fixed by having french drains laid around the inside perimeter of the basement - cost was 10K. |

| Definitely disclose. Don't bother with drains. No matter how well you think you've managed it by doing nothing, I assure you people like me will enter your home, take one breath in and KNOW if you have a wet basement, inspection or not. |
