Murder House

But what I find most interesting is that they changed the address sometime in 2012 from 9337 to 9335.

yes, that's very interesting! wow, sneaky.

Googling the address won't necessarily do any good for a lot of homes anyway.
I grew here in Maryland and there was a murder suicide in our neighborhood. The house sat empty for most of my childhood, but now a young family has bought the house and fixed it up. I'm sure they have no idea since most of the people that knew either have died or moved out. Nothing comes up on google, and I'm sure they paid over 700k for the place.
Also what about this place

I wonder if the owners know what happened here

That story so messed up.

It is listed way undervalue at 399K

Google the street or ask neighbors.

They changed the house number ..which makes it hard to find the real info on the place

This house, under the address 9337, was sold in February 2012 for $330,000 after almost a year on the market. By the looks of the current listing, it seems the house was flipped, and the developers somehow managed to change the address. I see on Redfin that one agent notes that this house, "used to be 9337," and I wonder if he was giving a Google clue to any would-be buyers. I don't think a house is necessarily cursed, as it was the murderers who committed these terrible acts, not a bunch of inanimate bricks. But I do hope future buyers know the history before they close. If anything, the house's history could affect their resale down the road, and that's something they need to know.

My issue wouldn't be so much the murder house....it would be the murder neighborhood. I wouldn't want to live anywhere near that neighborhood.

The neighborhood is a very nice neighborhood and it's quite popular. I would live there if I could afford it

Ugh, this was such a disgusting crime, and the fact that his parents helped him flee was particularly awful. What a gross, entitled family.

Shocking and disgusting that Israel would not extradite either.

Is there a chance there's an environmental cause to the crazy?
Anonymous
All the murders were committed by people who did not live in this house, so no environmental explanation would apply here.
Anonymous
Yeah, he was raised by entitled a-holes that thought they were above the law, does that count as an environmental factor?
Anonymous
The murder that Samuel Sheinbein committed did not happen in this house It's an unrelated crime that someone posted a link to as an example of *another* murder house in the area.

Cheap flippers. They should have knocked the house down. I would buy a new house, but never the renovated, old house.

I thought there was an article in the Post about the address of the home being changed, or perhaps I read it on the Patch website. In any case, I just could not live in the house because of the things that have happened there.
