If you plan to live in your current house "forever", what features do you like about it?

We are living in a 20-25 year home. I am not interested in living in NOVA for the rest of my life, but don't want to kick my kids out of their childhood neighborhood, so we will stay put until they graduate from college (this will be about the time we retire). Then we will probably split time between our current home and our retirement home.

The house is in a nice neighborhood, has great schools, and is very close to work. It is attractive inside and out (IMO). The mortgage is affordable. There is really no reason not to love it.
