Wish Martha moderated the presidential debate!

It is very difficult to listen to someone who utters one lie after another. After awhile you just have to jump in. Otherwise, you look like Obama who let Romney repeat one lie, then two lies, then three and then there were just too many lies to count. Yet, Romney brilliantly walked away from his own record and previous promises with lies that Obama failed to jump in and correct. I prefer Biden stopping the lies in their track.

You know the Republicans lost when they start blaming the moderator!

Like the Dems did after Obama's dismal performance?

I was part of the undecided group and was so put off by Biden and the moderator's ambush that Ive come to my decision - Romney/Ryan !

Heeheeehee. Who are you fooling. You were never undecided. Puh-leeze.

I hope you aren't under 54 and that you don't make between $200-$250,000 HHI then, because if you are, you are voting for your own demise.

I'm 36 with HHI 300k. I'm also a physician and frankly scared of obamacare for my patients.

My family received annual checkups without a co-pay this year. Our premiums have not risen. We received a very small rebate check. My sister and her husband put their 23-yoa son back on their insurance plan. So far, I am loving it.

How is it bias to ask a vice-presidential candidate for specifics. Geez

You're missing my point, I loved that she asked Ryan for specifics. I wish she would have drilled Biden on specifics, but she didn't.

Yes, that all sounds great for just annual checkups. The problem will arise when your health is compromised and you need to make tough decisions regarding your care.

You wish she had drilled Biden for specifics on what? I don't think there is anything Obama & Biden are saying that is remotely similar to Romney's tax plan in terms of gigantic promises versus minuscule details. The biggest question of the campaign is how you balance a 20% rate cut with loophole closings that don't hurt the middle class. The answer that bipartisanship will descend on Washington and good faith negotiation will solve the problem is fine for those who believe in Santa, but not for those who live in the real world.

After nearly four years in office Obama/Biden have their problems, but whether you are for or against them, you know what they're offering.

offering, skyrocketing debt, not possible to tax the rich enough to solve.

Ryan has won the debate. Every pioll except CBS has Ryan as the winner. Bidens attitude and behavior showed the reason why nothing gets done in Washington. Democrats like nasty politics and that's why Romney is going to landslide.

Private practice will not survive Obamacare. Physicians will be forced to either go cash pay only or work for hospital systems. Working for a hospital system will mean rationed care and administrative nonsense. I did not go into medicine to practice medicine according to bureaucratic guidelines. Medicine really is somewhat of an art - there are so many factors involved in a patient's care that there is more than one way to approach things. The best and brightest will no longer go into medicine - just get a nurse practitioner to follow cookie cutter guidelines. On a side note, I'm sick of people thinking doctors are independently wealthy or somehow money hungry. After 4yrs undergraduate, there is 4yrs of med school which can put you easily in 250k debt. Then there is internship and residency which is typically at least 4yrs where compensation is maybe $35-40k per year for 70+hr work weeks.

... Continuation - once your finally practicing you're still working your a** off - doctors are not compensated for their time like lawyers - I spend many hours talking to patient's families with no reimbursement for my time.
