Obama hasn't. He has never worked for a for-profit entity. Just Acorn (and some community whatever here and there, question marks. . .) and a university. He has ZERO business/accounting/finance/tax experience.

Not true. After graduating from Columbia University, Obama worked for more than a year at Business International Corporation. In addition, he was a summer associate at the Chicago law firm of Sidley Austin. That is notable because it is where he met Michelle.

Paul Ryan, on the other hand, was a waiter at Tortilla Coast.

Wow, he uses the F word and flubbed a few lines in speeches.

Always excuses for Biden and comments about "not very smart" when it comes to Quayle, Dubya, and Palin. None of these individuals is done, but they do have similar ways of expressing themselves. ADHD, maybe?

"He has distinguished himself as a member of the United States Senate and is an accomplished public servant. I wish him well in his bid for higher office but remain a supporter and ally of Sen. John McCain." _ Rep. Mike Castle, R-Del.

"I congratulate Sen. Barack Obama on his selection of my friend, Sen. Joe Biden, to be his vice-presidential running mate. I have enjoyed for many years the opportunity to work with Joe Biden to bring strong bipartisan support to United States foreign policy." _ Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind.
___
"Joe Biden is the right partner for Barack Obama. His many years of distinguished service to America, his seasoned judgment and his vast experience in foreign policy and national security will match up well with the unique challenges of the 21st Century." _ Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb.

I don't question that he's a sincere, good person with warmth and a great sense of humor who's been a great dad and husband and earned the admiration of many. I don't think he has the smarts of H. Clinton or B. Obama, and I also think he makes off the record gaffes.

OK but the people who admire him, Republicans included, are the ones who worked with him when he was Chairman of Foreign Relations or Chairman of Judiciary Committee. He was very sharp in his committee work. His proclivity to have gaffes has nothing to do with his intelligence.
