Maybe op's husband isn't most men and 10 pounds added on looks very unappealing. It happens.

I like my husband fit too. Who doesn't? But they have a new baby and he has a stressful job with long hours. She needs to cut the guy some slack here and back off his nuts and let him regroup.

I signed up my husband to the gym (without asking him first) and got him 10 sessions of personal training. He was mad at me at the beginning, but he now appreciates that.
