Are there any attorneys who work part time or work from home?

DH works with his partner mostly out of her house but sometimes from ours. She has a kid in 6th and a kid in 4th.

My husband is an attorney at DOT and lots of attorneys do primarily telework there.

How is Accenture as employer? Have you been there long?

I work for a big law firm, and I work from home whenever I want. I'm never in the office 5 days/week. Most weeks I go in three days. I tried the part-time thing and I didn't think 80% was all that helpful. I was working nearly as hard as my colleagues for a lot less money. I'd do 60% if I could afford the pay cut. My office is very flexible. Never missed a kid event.

ROFL I work for a government contractor and we have law firm partners beating down our doors for jobs. I don't really think you can just pick up part time hours for a gov con.

Do people who work from home use their own computers or govt-issued computers?

I am a fed atty (VA) and work from home 2 days a week and am in the office 2 days a week. I am at 90%, so I work 9 hrs M-Th and have Fridays off. My hours are 6:30-4pm.
