Forever it was Madeira and episcopal but then episcopal went coed and now it is woodberry forest and Madeira

Prep guys were to be avoided in my day. Good Counsel has been coed since at least the 90s.

Thank you for the clarification, very helpful. But to be honest prep boys got all the girls in my days

Your day is over

They are always invited to each others dances when other schools rotate in and out. There are some upper level classes that one has and the other doesn't so the students combine for those. The parents have coffees and other events together. They go on class trips together, like a trip to Belize in 8th grade. And I believe that the faculty children get the same discount at both schools regardless of which one the parent teaches at.

Holton HS parent here--since covid, they have had little overlap. They have 2 collaborative events a year. I believe they share a couple classes where neither school has enough students to fill a class (multivariable calc?)--only those kids are riding a bus between schools. There are no trips together of which I'm aware. They are not invited to all of each others dances. They do collaborate on plays/musicals so if your child is into drama there is a little overlap there, but that's pretty much it.

DeMatha and Seton have possibly a qausi-official relationship. The sibling discount (very small amount) apply if the siblings are at each of these schools). Seton also has a shuttle that stops on the DeMatha campus.

Agree. Girls from all the different schools try out for our school plays, come to the dances, etc.

Visi has many formal social events sponsored by both schools with Gonzaga. Parent events at the beginning of freshman year, picnics, bus trips to amusement parks for kids, and joint theater productions.

Many of these students at GZA and Visi (and Prep and SR, etc) know one another from grammar school, from the Parishes, and from family connections. There are lots families with sons at GZA and daughters at Visi.

Kids from both of those school also attend events and do theater at other Catholic schools as well, and have grade school friends and siblings at other schools too.

To be fair you’re responding to a thread and a comment from 2018 so covid wasn’t a thing at that time.
