Folks - NCS does offer remission - this is relatively new - past 2 years. Previously what happened was NCS salary did not factor into FA equation.

The pay, though, as an independent school teacher isn't so great. I applied for a job at GDS years ago. I think remission was 1/3 off at that time (it may be diff now) so tuition was "only" 20k, but my annual income was $30k. You'd need a pretty well off spouse to take advantage.

But teachers can apply for financial aid, like any other applicant. I'm a private school teacher and my child is able to attend the school where I teach due to generous financial aid. Remission, in my case, would not have been enough on its own.
