Why do you prefer living in a house or an apartment?

Yes, when we were DINKS, I loved our older slightly smaller house with its postage stamp front yard and the back yard that was dirt, but no grass. Very easy to take care of, just had to go and chop down some weeds once per summer. Having a yard was definitely only an issue after kids.
