Reasons why you HATE your neighborhood?

I love my neighborhood. But I wish I'd known that it's impossible to take a left turn from the road I usually take to get to metro and my daughter's school. There are no left turn signals in my morning rush direction and there are never any breaks to make the turn without a signal. I end up having to go out of my way just to get anywhere (or drive no a more stop-and-go road) and it is ANNOYING. I may petition VDOT for signals since there are left turn lanes and lights, just no left arrow.

this was the reason my cousin gave for sending their child to a $25K per year private school instead of the local elementary school. I was a bit stunned that they don't see the racism in that argument.
