Potomac

They want to be better students, writers, actors, athletes, etc. If i can guarantee you one thing about Potomac it is the following: the student will not only become well-rounded through challenging academics, exceptional arts programs and athletics, but also evolve into leaders of our world today. For example, Rostam Batmanglij a strong student, who studied at Columbia University was the co-creator of the famous and successful band Vampire Weekend.

Apparently Potomac students are great writers.
Well played, kid!

Nope. Missed a comma after University in last sentence. And arguably missed another before Vampire in the same sentence.

How is Potomac with children who have food allergies? Wondering if campus is nut free?

Our child has a nut allergy and attends Potomac. The school is not nut free. But, the school has been great about making the necessary accommodations. Before our child began, we met with the nurse. Our child has his own snacks and treats (for birthdays etc.). Teachers email us with ingredient lists and obtain approval before he is allowed to try any food, etc. As you can imagine, the school has a number of students with allergies. The school is adept at dealing with them.

Thanks pp. what about lunch? Do you pack a lunch or can your child purchase? Is there an allergy table? Thanks again!

They have allergy tables. We pack lunch (We are a little paranoid and we have a picky eater). The school has numerous lunch options. You can obtain the weekly menu and an ingredient list. When we interviewed the school, we asked a lot about how the school handles allergies. The school happily answered our questions.
