Bimbo alert! |
I'll ask again:
Men, do you really not see the benefit you gain by ensuring prescription contraception is widely available? |
Why would they? They can't get pregnant. |
I see the benefit. But, the Rush Limbaugh fan (who I believe is DCUM's famous "Panty Sniffer") probably can't find any woman to have sex with him. So, understandably, he doesn't see the benefit. On the other hand, he might support prescription beer goggles for the ladies. |
The latest from WaPo...
White House press secretary Jay Carney said, “The president called Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke because he wanted to offer his support, express his disappointment, that she was the subject of an inappropriate personal attack and thank her for exercising her rights as a citizen to speak out on public policy.” |
No, the point she was making is that the COST is a burden to her (and other poor law students) so she should receive birth control (for birth control purposes) for "free" from her insurance. She said the cost was $3000 for the three years of law school -- 3k that she, nor other female students have to cover these costs. That is a lot of money that goes towards birth control don't you think? One can extrapolate fo rher costs to be that high she must be having a lot of sex. Even Rush didn't say that ALL women who use birth control are sluts/prostitutes. You are just making that up. |
Oh great, another apology........ |
It is widely available, just not free. |
Now you are writing some sort of perverted fan fiction? Creep. |
oh, okay. So just the women who can't afford birth control are sluts. Gotcha. |
OK the pill costs the same, whether you are having sex frequently, infrequently, or once in a blue moon. If you don't know this, you have no place commenting on the topic at all. And insurance is something you pay for, so it's not "free". |
^^^ I think the PP knows that, but it's just more fun to be a misogynist. |
Congratulations, conservative dimwits. In a year where everything is supposed to be about the economy and the budget, you managed to make contraception an election year issue.
All the Democrats had to do was to mention the word, and your drug addled loudmouths come out of the woodwork in order to make this a general issue. In a few weeks time this has gone from: *Catholic hospitals should not have to pay for birth control, to *Women who use birth control are sluts, and women who want it covered on a health plan are prostitutes. Now you have a stark reminder to women that there are still reasons to vote against you, no matter what else is going on in the country. Good job! |
+1 |
Um....again, no one said that. Is that what you think? |
