What is WRONG with the state of Virginia?

I'm the OP and I'm amazed that this thread has turned into an unwinnable fight over abortion (again) and the argument over when life begins.

I was more upset by the one gun a month legislation - especially after McDonnell spent so much time with the victims' families from Virginia Tech

Who needs to buy one gun a month? Or is it just that those weapon supporters don't like to be told No?

Gay marriage? The basic foundation of the continual existence of man/woman is to produce and raise offspring that will grow up successfully and self sustaining and in the future produce more offspring. The best environment for this arrangement is union of marriage. Gays can't do this without intervention by non natural means. If this was intended you would see gay animals adopting or doing surrogates in nature.

The Toronto Zoo has a gay penguin couple raising a chick. Therefore it was intended and you are wrong by your own logic.

Republicans will limit the amount of sudafed I can buy. They will even force the pharmacist to record the purchases in a tracking system. But guns are totally different.

A lot of what is wrong in VA is the voters who elected McDonnell and Cuccinelli.
McDonnell went to law school at Regent - Jerry Falwell, seriously.
I may have to leave the country if McDonnell is the VP candidate.

Actually the reason why Virginia is attractive to these firms are because of the laws that encourage business and innovation, not laws like those in Maryland that discourage capitalism.

And this is the problem. Birth them and let them slowly rot from deprivation, it is not our human duty to take care of those less fortunate to take care of themselves.
