| This is probably another reason people homeschool. To control having to be around jerks. |
It should. Remember the girl (in MA, I think) who committed suicide and I think there have been other suicides due to the same type of bullying. At the very least, I would call the police and ask. This is a terrible thing and I hope they find the kid who did this and do somthing fast. |

My daughter, along with a few other girls, did this very stupid prank to a fellow high school student. It sounded less severe than even what you've described and was only active for one night.
The victim went to school and told on them, they admitted that yes, it happened, and they were all suspended from school for "cyber bullying". The schools will take it seriously, but I doubt most kids would fess up, so definitely print as much as possible. |
| Why are the culprits not being supervised by their parents and why do they have all this time to do this kind of crap? |
College admissions officers might look at someone's Facebook account -- but what if the account was created by an imposter? I.e. Let's say my daughter's name is Samantha Jones and she is at Highland Hill High School. Let's say that someone opened a fake account in her name, saying she is at Highland Hill High School. And posted all sorts of nonsense. Let's say Facebook won't take it down in a timely manner -- now what? |
This is a joke right? How old are your kids? It takes about 5 minutes to create a Facebook account. And if the child creates in in a fake name, how would the parents ever find out about it? |
