Diet trick is to scrape off the icing. Then cut the cake into pieces. Then you can eat it without making a mess. The icing is the most wicked stuff ever invented

I picked up a birthday cake from CakeLove last week. On a whim I got a lime(lemon?) cup cake. Omgd, it was to die for. Beat GTC hands down. I think I will get cupcakes instead of cakes from them in the future.

Yes! Because Cakelove has meringue buttercream instead of that nasty powdered sugar frosting at Georgetown Cupcake. Cakelove is much better quality.

I love DC cupcakes but I don't understand the deal is with the displays. Did they eat all the cupcakes on it or do they just bring other cupcakes so they don't eat the display?.? If so do they just throw the display away? What a waste. But I love the show.
