If we had had a boy, we would have gone with Kian. (KEE-on).

I also like Reza, but it means king, and my husband is anti-royalist.

Um, no it's not Arabic. In fact, in my 30 some odd years being Arab and living and traveling to almost all Arabic speaking countries I have never ever vome across the name cayden. Ever.

I like Bilal, too. It's not common even in a lot of the Arab world, but is pronouncable in nearly every language and you could go with "Bill" if you wanted an American nickname. I'm pretty sure Bilal was the first muezzin but am too lazy to Google it right now.

My Persian friend spells his name Shahin, he's a male.

Cayden is English and is made up in the variant of Cayden/Brayden/Jayden.

Cayden: as a boy's name is a variant of Kaden (Arabic), and the meaning of Cayden is "companion".

Am married to an Arab, work with all Arabs, never met a Kaden or a Cayden.
