Of course! "Cut reproductive rights, cut marriage equality, cut immigration reform, cut public education." They're chock-FULL of great new ideas!

sounds like a good idea, the government was and is meant to be for Security and Governing laws. THATS It. All other items including Education should be paid for by the people using it.

Huntsman has the best resume. Business, Governor, Ambassador to China - plus good educational achievements. Romney is not bad either.

Huntsman does have the best resume of the R candidates, but he is not "conservative" enough to win the candidacy.

I was already a big fan of his for substantial reasons, then saw him twice in Dupont (where they live) last week with his dog and adorable little girl walking on Connecticut Avenue. They were both laughing and having a blast together - no one recognized him! It was very sweet.

Anyway, the problem with our political system right now is how POLARIZED we are. The right is as right as ever, and the left is as left as ever. I think it's time for a new party for those (most) of us who fall somewhere in between.

Romney and Huntsman seem pretty reasonable, though Romney has opportunistic shape-shifter written all over him.

I can live with those descriptions, although in my own personal dictionary, libertarian kook and religious nut are perfectly acceptable synonyms for batshit crazy.

And Romney seemed reasonable, once upon a time - before he became an opportunistic shape-shifter (I may steal that).

Yeah, I've visited a few African countries that operate under that model -- educate only the rich, leave the rest to subsistance farm. Real successful model.... if you're rich.

That party exists right now - it's called the Democratic party. Check where the parties fell 30 years ago - both have moved to the right, significantly. The far left may technically be democrats, but they don't self-identify as such.

In that life was he against cars before he was in favor of them?

So basically Thomas Jefferson and George Washington were wrong.

What you described is the Articles of Confederation. That failed, and our founders figured it out and replaced it with our current government in the span of eight years. Don't you know this???

Put him next to anyone on the GOP side, and it's no contest. I'd rather the guy with the learning curve than some psycho religious nut, waffling do nothing or ancient old fart who still thinks it's 1994.

He's had almost four years and this excuse is no longer valid. His inexperience caught up with him and, I hope, taught the American people a valuable lesson, experience matters.

You keep saying the same thing over, and over, and over again. That does not make it true.
