I can't believe I am in this thread but..statistically marriages where the woman is older have a better chance of lasting. I think the thought is that older men go for a younger gal to control and the younger gal eventually grows up and dumps the old dude and/or at they get older she becomes older and the old dude wants another young thing to control. Whereas a younger guy is attracted to an older woman for her knowledge experience and is happy with that. I sort of understand this. In Hollywood..most all of these marriages go by the wayside...too much ego!!

Because it's true. She does look like an old woman now, especially with the weight loss. For the most part, women age worse than men..especially, if they have children. It's just a sad fact. Then, there's going through menopause at 45, while your 35 y/o husband wants to go hiking. Yeah....that's gonna be an issue.

Um, I'm 46 and in fantastic shape. More energy now than I had at 35. Don't generalize. On the other hand, my 48 year old husband is way less energetic than a 38 year old guy, so you never know.
