Any popular things that you are clueless about?

Ditto. I am left out of a LOT of conversations with peers. (I'm 35).

This comment is the opposite of clueless.

Fair enough! I guess my comment was more about being clueless why anybody likes him!

Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. And I could care less.

Ah! Something I understand! WINE!

Here's the 411:

Wine comes in "white" and "red" and "pink." Avoid the pink.

You can buy it in bottles OR boxes.

If you're drinking it before noon, use a coffee cup.

Ditto OP, Apple products. I'd also say fashion trends, reality tv, debt...

Sex in the City -missed that too

Texting, video games, i-anything. I have a cell phone in case of emergency. Otherwise, people can find me at my office or home phones. It's weird that people actually get angry now if they can't find you 24/7.

Husbandi is almost as clueless. Children are starting to get interested in video games -- but I have no idea where to start to buy something. (I'm content to be old-fashioned, but don't want them to be totally diconnected from their peer group). I'd gladly hire another mom to make Xmas purchases for me, so that I don't have to think for a second about all this.

Football. Even though I love most other sports and have a passing familiarity with pop culture (my kids are teens/young adults, so I have to know enough about that stuff to talk to them), I just don't get football. We actually have hosted a number of Superbowl parties because I figure why not cook if I'm not going to watch the game anyway?

Ditto football. And tweeting. Tweeting about football would probably #sendmeovertheledge

Sports
99% of TV (I do watch XFactor, but only bc it's my bonding night with my mom and she chose it)
Tweeting/Tumblr/Google + (I am addicted to FB)
Anything on popular radio (I listen to folk, bluegrass and classical)
Video Games
Designer clothing and accessories
Cars
Movies
Any electronic toys for kids. My kid is deprived and has very little
Chick Lit

Oh, and I'm 27. I get left out of a LOT of conversations!

Smugness over ignorance of pop culture.
